First awarded in 1995, The Stage Awards for Acting Excellence recognise outstanding theatre performances by individuals and companies on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Judged by The Stage’s team of professional critics, the awards comprise four categories:
- Best Actor
- Best Actress
- Best Solo Show
- Best Ensemble
